The Blk Sunflower Collective uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance our services, streamline operations, and support our members in building successful businesses. This policy outlines how AI is used, what data may be processed, and what members can and cannot do when using AI through the Collective.

How We Use AI

We use AI across multiple areas of our business, including:

Member Access + Use

All Collective members may be given access to AI tools and features as part of their membership. These tools are intended to support your business—not replace thoughtful decision-making or ethical responsibility. Misuse of AI tools (see below) may result in restricted access or removal from the community.

Data + Intellectual Property (IP)

By submitting content (such as bios, offers, brand copy, images, etc.) into our platform, you understand and agree that your content may be processed through AI systems in order to improve or transform it for business use.

This may include, but is not limited to, editing content, generating ideas, or building marketing assets using your IP as input. While we do our best to protect sensitive information, you should avoid submitting confidential or personally sensitive data unless explicitly required.

What we may process through AI:
Your business name, offer, product descriptions

Uploaded content (e.g. drafts, branding documents)

Client-facing materials (emails, landing pages, bios, etc.)

What we consider personal data:

Names, phone numbers, email addresses, payment or financial details, private messages, and any sensitive business plans or disclosures not intended for public use.

We do not use AI to process sensitive financial information or passwords.

Prohibited Uses

The following behaviors are not allowed and may result in suspension or termination:

Using AI to spam, deceive, impersonate others, or submit low-effort auto-generated contentSubmitting AI-generated answers for assignments or coursework without editing or contextUsing Collective AI tools for unethical, exploitative, or illegal business practicesInputting third-party information without their permission

All AI tools are to be used ethically, with respect to intellectual property and community values.

AI Limitations + Member Responsibility

AI is a tool, not a decision-maker. While we use powerful platforms to enhance your experience, all final business decisions, brand choices, and legal responsibilities remain yours.

Use AI to create, test, and improve, not to cut corners or avoid strategic thinking.
